LJ is surely kind of different from what i remember. xD

i can't believe i never actually mentioned this concretely before.
but i'm hoping this is not too late.

this journal has been on hiatus (seriouslylikeyoudidn'trealize) ever since i decided to take around two years off to concentrate on my studies.
said two-year period is almost up.
i'll be back December this year.
after the necessary exams and my graduation from pre-uni.
then i'll restore this dusty nook.

in the meantime, if you've taken me off your list.
i've also done so to minimise any inconvenience that i may pose to you.
i'm sorry to let go; but even sorrier that i haven't been in touch.

i liiive. and here you witness my attempt to demonstrate that this journal is not merely occupied with spasmodic CDJapan coupon dispensing. truishly.
have been lurking around online. mostly at forums. lurklurk. with 'long live my Asian drama supply!!' floating somewhere in my stream of consciousness.

randomly. i'm wondering how many people have seen this (warning: male/male; the doraemon part = o_o). a decent proportion of the average student population locally, probably. anyway, it seems to have become amusement of the day for the people around me. considering it's obviously less brain-taxing than, say, economics. you know. once you survive the sappy love + teenage beng lingo. end of randomness.

The sweet sickly scent of death wafted across the chilly room at a predatory pace, the neon lights of the somnolent city outside the dusty windows shades of mocking pink and unsubtle orange. You shake piteously, a hysterical scream caged in the constraints of your throat and last snatches of sanity. Your flickering eyes glared pointedly away from the black ink splashed on the whitewashed walls. a smudge of deep wine color occasionally dotting said walls; as you drink in the panic that was surfacing threateningly, suffocating you menacingly like mud flung upon your coffin.

You relax slightly; just slightly as your palms sting due to the razor sharp nails digging into your flesh. Fists unclenched, you make a futile grab for something solid to hold onto. Landing almost soundlessly upon the Indian-carpeted floor, your next breath was almost denied. An unknown curiosity propelled you to touch my fading warmth and watch the etched depression vanish from my facade. An apology that you never uttered shimmered in our touch; only comforting to yourself.

In the relatively grey space we occupy, you exhale, a contented smile slowly and shyly emerging. Your heart calmed, as you ignored the pooled dark liquid I was partially submerged in, your eyes acid-green as always. I stand in the field of fluttering grass, under the lavender sky, only awakening, at the sound of your arabesque.

the November sun is a golden one-dimensional sphere in the faint blue sky, as it sinks reluctantly behind a common low-rise block of apartments. you feel irritated by the stifling post-summer heat as it threatens to consume your sanity. staring too long at it causes spots of violet rimmed with red and neon yellow, to haunt your vision persistantly. your room is decorated with stray strong beams of this lemon light, bouncing off familiar furniture and illuminating awkward corners, and you muse about the function of those blinds. you see your flat grey shadow cast upon a patch of whitewashed wall not yet poster-clad. you tell yourself you hate this half of the year where the dusk is exceptionally attention-grabbing, and you never wanted darkness more. the sunshine reveals the fingerprint smudges and specks of dust resting on your clear window pane and you listen to the quiet whirring of the silent chaos around you.
